Which hotels are nearest to your building?

The Downtown Doubletree Hotel is connected to the Cox Business Center via an enclosed pedestrian skybridge. The Aloft Hotel, opened in May 2013, is also adjacent to the Cox Business Center. The Hyatt Hotel, Holiday Inn-City Center, Mayo Hotel, and Hotel Ambassador are all within walking distance of our facility – just another upside to Downtown Tulsa.

How far is it from Tulsa International Airport to the Cox Business Center?

We are only about 9 miles from the airport, and you can expect the drive to take approximately 15 minutes.

Other than room rental, what other charges should I budget for when I am planning my event?

This depends on the nature and size of your event, but some costs that our clients incur are: labor, utilities, parking, equipment rental, security, staging and catering. Please contact us to discuss your event in detail, and we would be happy to put together a total cost estimate.

Where can my attendees park?

We have more than 1,395 parking spaces in our adjacent parking garage, which is managed by American Parking. The current charge for parking is $5-$8 per car.

Does the Cox Business Center require that I carry insurance for my event?

Yes. Your coverage must be for at least $1,000,000, and your insurance should name the City of Tulsa, the Tulsa Public Facilities Authority and SMG as additionally insured. It is also important to check that the event dates fall within the policy dates, and the insurance company must be licensed in the State of Oklahoma. Is Downtown Tulsa a safe area for my group?

In addition to bike patrols, the Tulsa Police Department has selective enforcement units from different divisions that patrol the downtown area to assist downtown visitors.

Do you offer on-site catering?

Yes. SAVOR...Catering by SMG provides exclusive catering for the Cox Business Center and the BOK Center from our on-site kitchens.
